VOLY.org serves as the backbone of volunteer engagement across two of North Texas’ largest school districts. Together, Plano and Lewisville Independent School Districts (ISD) support 138 campuses.
Through VOLY.org, they’re engaging more than 89,000 volunteers to serve nearly 100,000 students each year. The platform equips them to coordinate volunteer efforts at scale—offering a consistent, streamlined experience for families, educators, and community members alike.
The Challenge
Before VOLY.org, coordinating volunteers across school districts involved manual, paper-based work, making it incredibly difficult to scale. From screening volunteers to onboarding, staff lacked the tools to fully support the volume and complexity of volunteer activity across multiple campuses.
