On Saturday, August 29, the Dallas Business Club, in partnership with VolunteerNow, will host a fast, fun and thought-provoking nonprofit challenge event – the DBC Hackathon. The “hackathon” pairs an organization with a team of MBA professionals “racing the clock” to create working solutions for problems faced by local nonprofits. Event will be held from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Center for Community Cooperation, 2900 Live Oak Street in Dallas.
To be considered for the nonprofit challenge, organizations must submit a brief project proposal describing their issue or need no later than August 10. Due to the format of the event, only a limited number of organizations will be selected. Primary consideration will be given to proposals presenting challenges/needs that if solved will significantly increase organizational capacity and/or directly impact the agency mission. Selected organizations will be notified by August 18. Click here for the proposal form. Please note, only Partner members are eligible to apply for this opportunity.
