Critical to success

Purposefully You! provides students with educational resources that suit their unique learning habits to help them create a better future for themselves. Students discover career opportunities that suit their personalities and are equipped with college preparation resources, and volunteers are crucial in providing support for Purposefully You!’s mission, said Executive Director Kimberly Finley.

“This is powerful!” Finley said. “This helps each student to gain self-awareness, and build self-esteem and confidence.”

VOLY.org, powered by VolunteerNow, provides Purposefully You! with the resources it needs in order to connect with its volunteers. In addition to distributing volunteer opportunity requests, VOLY.org allows Purposefully You! to reach members, organizations, and community partners of VOLY.org, Finley said.

“Our volunteers, aka ‘Game Changers’ make huge impact,” Finley said. “They honor and support the mission of the organization and the students we serve.”
